The wooden face is dark brown in color with a smooth surface. The typical Chokwe cross on the forehead. Decorative scars on both cheeks. The hat is made of rattan and textile. Many buttons are used as decorative elements. On the forehead and cheeks are typical decorative scars from Chokwe art.
