This three-legged stool is handmade from very light wood in the Jimma region from Ethiopia.
Hand carved from a single piece of light wood.
Size: 26 cm diameter and 34 cm high.

Original African "jimma" stool, hand carved in the Jimma region of Ethiopia. It is carved from a single piece of light wood. It has a hollow round seat and three curved legs, a feature often found in chairs from Ethiopia. Small to medium in size with three supporting legs. Attrsctive cut out desighn on the back support with deep lusty patina.
