This Tutsi shield is dated from the mid of the 20th century and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Monoxyl and concave elliptical wooden shield, slightly curved on the middle part and animated by a pyramidal protuberance pigmented with red, white and black. It constitutes the point of symmetry of the decoration engraved in incision and enhanced with black and red.
