Sessofia Ayaovi Dabla was born in Lomé, capital of Togo on October 24, 1964. He inherits all the wealth of African Arts, particularly present in this part of Africa, in the heart of the Gulf of Guinea. What he also receives and more intimately still is his father's passion for painting as well as his talent. Adabouni Dabla graduated in Plastic Arts in 1960, is a renowned and accomplished artist in his country, winner of many prizes that he receives in Togo but also in Europe. From cubism to expressionism, Mr. Dabla father paints, creates posters and huge frescoes which still cover a number of buildings in the city of Lomé today.

In France, he is known for having participated in countless exhibitions.
He has also taken his works to Washington, D.C., in the USA.
Trained by his father and by life itself, Ayaovi Sessofia has also studied with other masters to refine his art.
Several prizes and honorary distinctions mark his artistic journey.
Among them, in 1998, the 1st prize in the Air France competition.
In 2000, 1st prize in the competition *Fighting AIDS, AIDS and Men*.
The artist does not create art for art's sake; he participates in the fight against the major scourges of our
