A wonderful collection of Dogon masks, beautifully photographed and presented. The Dogon produce some of the most striking art in West Africa, and this book does this craft justice with more 5-Star items than just about any Dogon art book I've ever seen. I should also mention the 20 excellent field photos which give a real context to the masks. This book is worth 5-Stars, despite the fact that the text and descriptions are in French.
