Tribal used African Ethiopian camel bell from the Afar.
Hand carved from a single piece of wood, with (Ethiopian) coins.
Height: 15 cm x 12 cm.
This is an old camel bell from the first half of the 20th century originating from the Ogaden desert which borders Ethiopia, Somalia and Djibouti.
Carved out of one piece of hard wood, it has one wooden clapper.
It is a lovely piece and has a beautiful weathered look.
